Digital Transformation: Douglas Linsmeyer — An Animated Series

Open-source technology is transforming the global digital landscape with far-reaching implications that are only beginning to unfold.

Challenge:

In the dynamic digital landscape, our challenge is to create an animated series that effectively communicates digital technology's transformative power. We seek to capture the essence of innovation, adaptability, and strategic vision essential for navigating this journey.

How can we effectively communicate the complexities of digital transformation, inspire change, and envision a data-driven future using Posit Open-Source products and technologies?

Approach:

Our approach uses research-driven insights, creative storytelling, and visually captivating animation to explore digital transformation. We leverage our industry expertise and real-world examples to simplify complex concepts and craft a dynamic visual style. Our main goal is to create an engaging viewing experience that sparks curiosity and encourages discussion about the future of technology.

An animated video about digital transformation through the eyes of Douglas Linsmeyer, VP of Digital Technology at PING, explains his thoughts on digital transformation and adopting new technology.

Execution:

  • Visuals + Art Direction

We brought our vision of digital transformation to life using motion design, playful color palettes, abstract and geometric symbols, and collage elements. This helped us better explain complex subjects. We also used kinetic typography and line texture to add a more tangible feel to the digital environment, creating a more engaging experience.

  • Different colors and shapes were experimented with during the initial stages of creating hero visuals.
